Under the leadership of Kim Taylor, Vice President and General Counsel, the Office of Legal Counsel advises University officials on legal and regulatory questions associated with the University’s activities (including transactional matters, policy formulation and compliance, employment and student issues, and pre-litigation dispute resolution), and represents the interests of the University in administrative and judicial proceedings.

The Office of Legal Counsel includes ten attorneys and four professional staff, all of whom advise and represent the University in connection with its various activities. Our attorneys have diverse backgrounds and expertise and regularly assist schools, divisions, departments, faculty, and staff in connection with their endeavors.
